Epic Shores

After being inspired by one of my favourite landscape photographers last year, I have decided to do a project in 2024. I watched Nigel Danson's video where he spent 30 days at Luskentyre beach in Scotland. I was so keen to try something like what he did. However, unable to do this in one go due to working full time and studying part time I decided to use my local beach to try a similar concept. 

I will head to Bethells Beach every week and capture a weekly photo. I will be using Bethells beach, Waitakere bay and O'Neil's beach for this project. 

This will push me to look beyond the “money shots.” Those quintessential shots that are easy to see. I'm hoping that this will elevate both my way of looking for a composition and my individual shots.
